Make yourself at home.

Four quick steps. Then it’s just you and your words.

  1. Unzip the file

    Open RewriteCmd.zip in your Downloads folder. Double-click it to extract the app.

    ~/Downloads/RewriteCmd.zip

  2. Move to Applications

    Drag RewriteCmd.app into your Applications folder, then open it from there. The first-launch guide helps you keep a single installed copy.

  3. Enable your shortcut

    In RewriteCmd, open Permissions and choose Open System Settings. In Privacy & Security → Accessibility, turn on RewriteCmd. This lets your shortcut copy and replace selected text in other apps. Return to RewriteCmd to check that your shortcuts are ready.

  4. Find it in your menu bar

    Look for Abc at the top-right of your screen. Open it to start with 50 free AI rewrites, choose Pro Cloud for more, or connect your own AI with Pro Lifetime. Select text in an app, then use your configured shortcut.
